Contributing Editors offers a safe space to explore all levels of literary ambitions in a fictional, fundamentals-first way.

The platform is dedicated to fostering an atmosphere where writers are inspired to create and collaborate, supporting both new and experienced authors as they refine their craft. By cultivating a space that values imaginative thinking and the development of original characters and stories, Contributing Editors strives to empower its members to reach their full creative potential.

The Contributing Editors’ vision is to amplify the unique perspectives found within the contributing editors community. Through its thoughtfully curated environment, the platform seeks to celebrate individual viewpoints and encourage creative expression. By fostering collaboration and imaginative thinking, Contributing Editors aims to cultivate a vibrant literary space in which every member’s distinct perspective is valued and elevated.
How does it work?
The community-centric website guides users through character development exercises that empower creative reflection as they build character personas. Personas can range from fully established and elaborate to minimal – these fictional personas are the critical backbone of the Contributing Editors’ community engagement. Personas can be kept private, shared with select members, or available for viewing in the public forum.
At different times of the year, an “Event” will be posted to the member communities – similar to an open-ended short story. The “Event” acts as a springboard for members to bring their fictional Personas to life. When the author feels their persona’s “Event Response” is ready, they can share their response with the open forum or members within group clubs.
If enough “Event Responses” are created, an open call will be issued for community members to review the submitted personas and responses, and vote on their favorites. A review board will evaluate those with the top votes, and winners can choose to have their submission published, collectively, as a novel within the “Countless Perspectives” series.
